The Elementary School Program serves children ages 5 to 12, with average student:teacher ratios of 2:1 or 3:1. Staff includes one credentialed teacher and two or more assistants in each classroom. The students are those with Asperger's Syndrome, emotional disturbances, learning disabilities, mild developmental delays or mild autism. Through small classes and the CLC approach, students make substantial progress in the areas of academic skills, emotional functioning, self-esteem, and self-control. Outpatient Mental Health Services, which include individual, group, and family counseling, are available for EPSDT-eligible children..
